Walk worthy...

Ephesians 4:1-3 "I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called (2) With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; (3) Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

Today, I was touched by this passage of not only looking inwardly, but making sure we stay unified for the cause of Christ.

May we always be mindful that the works which are accomplished are not because of what we have done. When we get too caught up with what WE are doing, that sets us up for a fall. Our time in prayer and in the Word is a necessity for spiritual growth. If we are grounded on true foundation, there is nothing we can't do through Christ (see Phillipians 4:13).

May we not take for granted our relationship with God. When we try to build human relationships, spending time with one another is key...building a relationship with God is no different.

Make time today and everyday to spend in prayer and in study...you won't regret it!!!
